Books 4 Vijećnica – Rebuilding Bosnia’s National Library

After nearly two decades, Bosnia’s National Library, Vijecnica, is still not rebuilt and remains but an empty husk.

Not only is the the building itself a symbol of Bosnian heritage, but it was a central resource to students studying at the University and has yet to be replaced.

Several friends of mine from the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia are running an international project to help restock and rebuild the library.

Please check out this link to their kickstarter.com account to donate even if it is a few dollars.  Donations over$4 get a range of increasingly beautiful prizes

Also please join them at facebook and check out their website here to learn about their international project.
